Retro Flyers DLX Preamp

DESCRIPTION

The RetroFlyer DLX is here! Featuring the same excellent preamp and tremolo section as the original RetroFlyer with added 2-band EQ and an advanced and flexible active FX loop.

It is direct swap-able with existing Peterson 4-pin suitcase amplifier and cable. OR with the use of a side-rider box is usable in stage models with 6-hole rail punching. Both models use legacy 4-Pin DIN connectors for power and output. Here are some highlights:

• High-headroom and high-fidelity preamp with excellent signal to noise ratio

• Musical stereo tremolo modeled after the original optical Peterson waveform

• Advanced active FX loop doubles as line mixer OR pre-tremolo direct out.

• FX Loop features a selectable Output and Input Gain for maximum flexibility - so you can run anything from high-gain pedals to line level rack effects at optimum gain settings.

• 2-Band Bass/Treble EQ can be fully bypassed via switch.

• Wide Band EQ for powerful tone sculpting plus a switchable High-Pass Filter

• High quality Audio-Grade components throughout

• Quick and simple installation and includes a detailed manual

• Engineered and manufactured by Avion Studios in our workshop.

NOTE: For many people the original RetroFlyer will still be a better choice. Particularly those with 3-hole rails like on the Mk II, Mk V or Mk IA. Or simply those who don’t need an FX loop.
